PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate search of a medical image desired by a doctor.

SOLUTION: In the image display device 30 installed in the medical image management system, a list formation unit 30d forms a list in which a medical image group designated by the doctor of a plurality of medical images of the same patient read from a medical image database 20a is associated. A storage control unit 30e controls so that medical image data based on the list formed by the list formation unit 30d is stored in the medical image database 20a.
