<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump hot water supply device and a method of operating the same, capable of suppressing increase of the total weight. <P>SOLUTION: This heat pump hot water supply device 300 has a refrigerant circuit 300c and a water circuit 300w capable of exchanging heat in a water heat exchanger 3 configuring the refrigerant circuit 300c, and the water circuit 300w includes a water supply pump 10, a water inlet pipe 11 reaching the water heat exchanger 3 through a bypass three-way valve 19 and a water storage tank 30 (provided with a water storage tank drainage switch valve 33), and a water outlet pipe 12 connecting the water heat exchanger 3 and a hot water storage tank 13 through a water storage tank three-way valve 17. A water storage tank inflow pipe 34 (provided with a water storage pump 36) communicated with the water storage tank 30 is connected to one of outflow ports of the water storage tank three-way valve 17, and a bypass pipe 18 communicated with the water outlet pipe 12 is connected to one of outflow ports of the bypass three-way valve 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
