<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generator in which vibration damping can be performed by means of pitch angle control of blades without variation of the power generation quantity. <P>SOLUTION: The wind power generator includes: a rotor 10 which has a plurality of radially arranged blades 11 whose pitch angles can be changed and rotates around a predetermined rotating axis; a nacelle 60 in which a generator 20 driven by the rotor is housed; a tower 70 which supports the nacelle; and a pitch control means 30 which controls a plurality of pitch angles of the rotor. The plurality of blades have: a first group of blades 11a and 11c which are controlled such that the pitch angles lie within a region of the maximum lift angle or less; and a second group of blades 11b and 11d which are controlled such that the pitch angles lie within a region of the maximum lift angle or more. The pitch control means increases or decreases both pitch angles of the first group of the blades and the second group of blades according to variation of wind velocity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
