<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate developing a Web application for performing special printing and to allow the Web application to operate on any server. <P>SOLUTION: In a client server system where a client (10) and a server (20) are connected with each other through an internet (100), the client (10) serves as: means for extracting a comment of markup language content from data transferred from the Web server (20) to a Web browser of the client (10); means for extracting a character string enclosed by tags indicating a print instruction from the extracted comment; means for converting the extracted character string into a printer control code; and means for transmitting the converted printer control code to a client-side printer (12). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
