<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can excellently obtain both of attachment/detachment operation of a unit and securing of positional accuracy of the unit, which are mutually incompatible conventionally. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a front cover 30 to be provided in an image forming apparatus main body 1 and rotatable between an open position and a closed position; and a transport unit 40 to be arranged on an inner surface side of the front cover 30. When the front cover 30 is rotated to be moved from the closed position to the open position, the transport unit 40 is attachable to/detachable from the front cover 30 by operation in the same direction as a rotation direction of the front cover 30 and it is easy to obtain attachment/detachment operation of the transport unit 40 and securing of positional accuracy of the transport unit 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
