PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element having a low driving voltage, a high current efficiency and a long driving life, and further to provide an organic EL display device and an organic EL light including the organic electroluminescent element.

SOLUTION: An organometallic complex material is the one to be used for the organic electroluminescent element. In electron spin resonance method, the g value is at most 1.9900 and at least 2.0100, and the number of electron spins for 1 mg of the material is at least 1.0×1010and at most 1.0×1016.
