<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables a navigation system loaded on a vehicle and the like to connect to an information providing device by using a base station of narrow-band communication. <P>SOLUTION: When a recommended route passes a communication spot which is an area where communication is available by using the base station of narrow-band communication, the navigation system connects to the information providing device via the base station after moving to the communication spot, and when the recommended route does not pass the communication spot, the navigation system connects to the information providing device via a public network by using a communication terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
