<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film for electrical insulation which is composed of a composition in which the terminal end of aromatic polyester is sealed by a carbodiimide compound, does not isolate an isocyanate compound, and is excellent in hydrolysis resistance and long-term thermal deterioration resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester film for electrical insulation is composed of a compound having one carbodiimide group and including at least an annular structure in which the first nitrogen and second nitrogen of the carbodiimide group are coupled to each other by a coupling group, and a composition mixed with the aromatic polyester.
