<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yellow toner giving high image density and having superior charging stability. <P>SOLUTION: The yellow toner contains a binder resin and a yellow colorant, and is characterized in that the yellow colorant contains a pyridone azo compound (A) expressed by general formula (I) and a yellow pigment (B). In formula (I), R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">3</SP>each independently represent a substituent selected from a group consisting of a hydrogen atom, 1-21C alkyl group, 2-21C alkenyl group, 6-21C aryl group, 7-21C aralkyl group and substituent having a hetero atom. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
