<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an air treatment apparatus the noise and size of which are minimized and the efficiency of which is maximized. <P>SOLUTION: The air treatment apparatus contains a function of maximizing efficiency and effectiveness thereof. As one embodiment, in an air passage with a sensor, a low pressure area generated by a blower is used for sucking air through the passage. As another embodiment, a filter frame contains a plurality of connectors which are integrally formed with the filter frame. As another embodiment, a screen is adjacently disposed to a blower intake port and contains a plurality of oblique stranded wires oriented to a specific direction. As another embodiment, a remote control holder is integrally formed with a housing.
