<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel that employs a protective layer to prevent electromigration (EM) between a transparent electrode and an electrode wiring, and arranges the electrode wiring not on the top of the transparent electrode but on the sides of the transparent electrode to reduce the thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The touch panel 100 includes a transparent electrode 120 formed on one face of a transparent substrate 110, a protective layer 130 having an upper end 133 surrounding the edge of the one surface of the transparent electrode 120 and a lower end 137 formed on the side of the transparent electrode 120 so as to protrude toward the edge of the transparent substrate 110, and an electrode wiring 140 formed on the side of the protective layer 130 to surround the lower end 137 of the protective layer 130 protruding toward the edge of the transparent substrate 110. The protective layer 130 is interposed between the transparent electrode 120 and the electrode wiring 140 to prevent electromigration (EM) and prevent the performance and lifetime of the touch panel 100 from being reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
