The web treatment device (1) has a contact zone (3) which is formed by a treatment element (4) and a flexible sheath (5). Two longitudinal sealings (8,9) are designed to act on an area in an inner side of the sheath. The treatment element is particularly a heated roller. The sheath is formed in a concave manner in the contact zone between the longitudinal sealings.
