TESTING LIVE STREAMING SYSTEMS

A live streaming system for streaming content to a plurality of client devices. The system comprises a controller configured to control testing of the live streaming system by determining a start time for an experiment for testing the live streaming system, sending a message to a subset of the plurality of client devices indicating that each client device in the subset can participate in the experiment, the message comprising experiment control parameters, and monitoring the experiment.
