LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device and driving method thereof are provided to increase visibility of an LCD device without reducing the opening of the LCD by differentiating the luminance of the first and second sub-pixels. CONSTITUTION: A data line(DL) is insulated from a gate line. A common voltage line(SL) separates from the gate line and the data line and transfers the specific voltage. First and second switching devices are connected to the gate line and the data line. First and second liquid crystal capacitors are connected to the first and the second switching devices. A third switching device(Qc) includes an input terminal which is connected to the second switching device, a floated control terminal, and an output terminal. A third capacitor(C3) is connected to the switching device.
