<p>Provided are means or a method for solving the problems of nucleic acid analysis that are associated with homopolymer sequences having a low complementary strand bindability. A method for analyzing a target nucleic acid in a sample comprises: a step for preparing a target nucleic acid from a sample; a step for causing a first probe, the complementary strand of which will bind with the shared sequence possessed by the target nucleic acid, to bind with the target nucleic acid; and a step for forming a first extended strand by complementary strand synthesis reaction of the target nucleic acid using the first probe as the primer, wherein the first probe sequence is designed such as to not completely complement the shared sequence possessed by the target nucleic acid, but rather to have one or several mismatched bases.</p> |
