<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber tape core wire that is formed by connecting multiple optical fiber wires in parallel that can be clearly discriminated from different optical fiber tape core wires, have no decrease in discriminability due to time-related deterioration, and can be discriminated from other optical fiber tape core wires when taping material is peeled off and each of the optical fiber wires is used separately. <P>SOLUTION: Each of multiple optical fiber wires 1 is provided with a color strip 4 for discriminating optical fiber tape core wires.
