<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immunoassay kit and an immunoassay method for quickly, easily and specifically detecting Asian H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses, and to provide a detection kit and a detection method based on immunochromatography, for quickly, easily, and specifically detecting Asian H5N1 viruses with high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: Inventors of this invention have found that a monoclonal antibody 4G6 prepared with Asian H5N1 viruses as an immunogen doesn't react with Asian H5N2 viruses or Asian H5N3 viruses but specifically binds to only Asian H5N1 viruses. The inventors have found also that only Asian H5N1 highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses can be specifically detected by an immunoassay method using the monoclonal antibody 4G6. Furthermore, the inventors have found that detection sensitivity is improved by adding a nonionic surfactant and a vinyl-based water-soluble polymer having a polar group containing oxygen atom and nitrogen atom, to a developer for use in immunochromatography. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
