<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of a backlash in inversion by adopting a structure in which unbalanced load is scarcely produced. <P>SOLUTION: In a wiper motor which includes a gear frame 21 having a shape with a bottom and accommodating a speed reduction mechanism and a motion converting mechanism, and a gear cover 24 which blocks an opening of the gear frame 21, respective pairs of protrusions 45, 46 which slidably contact with each other at each inversion position of a wiper member, are individually provided on an axial directional end surface of a worm wheel 32, and on a bottom wall section 21a of the gear frame 21. A pair of protrusions 45 on the gear side protrude from the axial directional end surface of the worm wheel 32 toward the bottom wall section 21a, and a pair of protrusions 46 on the frame side protrudes from the bottom wall section 21a toward the worm wheel 32. Also a slidable contact member 41 and so on are provided between a motion conversion member 36 connected with the worm wheel 32 and the gear cover 24, and the motion conversion member 36 is made to be in contact with the inside surface of the gear cover 24 in a freely slidable manner via the slidable contact member 41 and so on. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
