<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor that improves the responsiveness of a movable vane without enhancing the elastic force of a spring. <P>SOLUTION: The centrifugal compressor 2A includes a diffuser 7 leading to a scroll 6 from an exit side 4a of an impeller 4. The centrifugal compressor 2A has a piston 12 and a vane 13. The piston is provided with: a movable vane 11 reciprocatably disposed inside a storage chamber 17 in a wall surface 7a; a coil spring 19 for biasing the movable vane 11 against a protruding position P1 side; and a decompressor 20 capable of reducing pressure inside the storage chamber 17. This configuration allows the piston 12 to move between the protruding position P1 where the vane 13 is protruding from the wall surface 7a forming the diffuser 7 and a storage position where the vane 13 is stored in the wall surface 7a. The movable vane 11 is provided with: a first opening 18a for opening the diffuser 7 to make communication between the diffuser 7 and the inside of the storage chamber 17; and a communication passage 18 having a second opening 18b open to the storage chamber 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
