<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buckling restraining brace inexpensively manufactured and having excellent yield strength. <P>SOLUTION: A buckling restraining brace 1 comprises: core members 3 including steel bars 5; and a reinforced concrete (concrete 9, main reinforcements 11, hoops 13) as a buckling restraining material provided around the core materials 3, unbonded treatment being performed between the core members and the buckling restraining material. Sectional defect parts 5a are provided in the steel bars 5, and in the reinforced concrete, the hoops 13 may be arranged at the positions corresponding to the sectional defect parts 5a more densely than the other parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
