<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly update interval information and detection coverage information since the interval information by a recording medium detection part for measuring timing of image recording differs from the actuality due to a difference arising from a component error and an assembly error or a difference in type of recording mediums in carrying mechanism of an image recording device. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording device 1 has an interval information management part 14 which has the interval information and detection coverage information for each type of recording mediums, classifies and holds a variety of actual interval information for each type of recording medium, and enables updating the interval information and the detection coverage information by an instruction from a host apparatus 16 or according to the predetermined conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
