<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Assel mill roll with which the generation of thickness deviation is suppressed while securing a necessary thickness rolling reduction of a hollow tube stock. <P>SOLUTION: In the Assel mill roll 1 on which a first circumferential surface 7 having a small diameter and a second circumferential surface 8 having a large diameter are formed through a hump part 6 which is a stepped part, the first circumferential surface 7 and the hump part 6 are connected by a first circular arc 9 having a first radius R1 of curvature, and the hump part 6 and the second circumferential surface 8 are connected by a second circular arc 10 having a second radius R2 of curvature in a longitudinal section by a plane including the center axis of the roll. The first radius R1 of curvature is selected from the range of >6.5 and <9.0 mm, and the second radius R2 of curvature is selected from the range of 1.66-1.76 times the first radius R1 of curvature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
