PURPOSE: A phenolic compound, a producing method thereof, and an antimicrobial composition including thereof are provided to offer the different structure of the phenolic compound compare to a natural bromophenol based compound. CONSTITUTION: A phenolic compound and its pharmaceutically acceptable salt have a structure marked with chemical formula A. In the chemical formula A, X is H or Br. A producing method of the phenolic compound comprises a step of reacting sesamol and -bromo-1,2-(methylenedioxy)benzene. An antimicrobial composition contains the phenolic compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt as an active ingredient.
