<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing device, an optical detection device, a display device, an electronic apparatus and the like which are capable of performing highly accurate detection by reducing an influence of the reflectance of an object. <P>SOLUTION: A processing device 100 comprises a control part 110 for performing light emission control of first and second light source parts LS1 and LS2 based on light-receiving results of a receiver RU that receives reflected lights LR1 and LR2 produced by an object OB reflecting irradiation lights LT1 and LT2 from first and second light source parts LS1 and LS2, and a determination part 120 for determining the positional relationship of the object OB with respect to the first and second light source parts LS1 and LS2 based on light emission control information for performing light emission control.
