<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resource management system, a resource management method, and a resource management program for effectively performing update management of a program. <P>SOLUTION: A control part 21 of a resource management server 20 identifies hardware in which software whose support information is obtained is installed. When the support information is information associated with a patch, the control part 21 identifies a type of the patch. When it is determined that the type of the patch is "security coping", the control part 21 compares an attack method to use environment information and outputs a result of determining a risk of security. When it is determined as "bug coping", the control part 21 outputs error achievement. In addition, software that is already installed in the hardware is identified, and conflict information is retrieved.
