<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing roller capable of preventing deterioration and deviation of a belt and ensuring uniformity of a nip part and a fixing device having the same, as well as an image forming apparatus having the fixing device. <P>SOLUTION: On an elastic layer 12 of a fixing roller 1, a plurality of protrusions 13 are disposed in a series from a center O in an axial direction P of the elastic layer 12 to ends L and R, in such a manner that they are symmetrical about the center O. Each of the plurality of protrusions 13 has a normal taper surface S which is higher at the side of the center O and lower at the side of the end L or R. In other words, the fixing roller has a plurality of pairs of normal taper surfaces S symmetrical about the center O disposed in a series from the center O to the ends L and R. Each of the plurality of protrusions 13 is constructed so that a total amount of the level difference Ht of each of the normal taper surface S of the plurality of protrusions is equal to a prescribed deviation prevention amount of a normal taper level difference required to prevent deviation of a heating belt. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
