<p>The invention provides a non-aerated, foamable oral care composition comprising less than 1.5% anionic surfactant (by total weight anionic surfactant based on the total weight of the composition), abrasive cleaning agent and hydrophobin. The composition is mild to oral mucosa yet exhibits excellent foamability, texture and storage stability.</p>
