MALE LUER CONNECTOR Abstract A male luer connector (100) for coupling medical tubing, comprising a main tube (110) comprising a tube connection (111) opening, a tip end (121) and a main tube channel (115) that extends along a first axis from the tube connection opening (111) to the tip end (121). A circumferential opening (1 13a) that extends through a wall of the main tube (110) from the main tube channel (115) to an outer side of the wall of the main tube along a second axis that is angled with respect to the first axis. A male luer member (120) configured to slide over the main tube (110) between a closed position in which the male luer member (120) covers the circumferential opening (113a) and an open position in which the male luer member (120) reveals at least a portion of the circumferential opening (130).
