<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of preventing a moving image taking from starting from a composition which a photographer does not intend to when taking a moving image having a different aspect ratio while a still image taking is underway. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus controls to make an aspect ratio of a taken image, which an image clipping part 15h generates by sequentially clipping, smaller with time from a first ratio to a second ratio, when a change instruction signal to change an aspect ratio of an image taken by a moving image release switch 9c is input while a system controller 15 is taking a still image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
