<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress flickers that are generated due to external light such as illuminating light or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Polarizers in the front surfaces of liquid crystal lenses of shutter glasses for viewing a 3D image are detachable. An observer attaches the polarizers to the front surfaces of the liquid crystal lenses of the shutter glasses, which depends on whether a problem of flickers or crosstalk is acceptable to the observer or not.
