<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved solution method for creating a bathymetric chart using flight time measurement, in particular, a flight time image pickup apparatus, and a flight time image pickup method for more accurate image pickup. <P>SOLUTION: A depth correction profile in which a propagation delay in a pixel array of a sensor 5 of a flight time image pickup apparatus 6 is considered is applied to a measured bathymetric chart.
