<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a doctor unit and a printing machine which can prevent ink adhering to a doctor from dropping from the doctor and dripping down on a printing plate, and to provide a processing unit which can prevent the ink from dropping from an ink processing part, such as squeegee and scraper, and dripping down on the printing plate. <P>SOLUTION: The doctor unit 30 includes: a body 31 holding doctors 32 and 33; and doctor covers 34, 35 prepared at a lower part of the body 31 to cover the doctors 32 and 33 from the lower part. The printing machine includes: a printing plate press platen 16 on which a printing plate 21 is laid; an ink supply device 26 which supplies ink on the printing plate 21 laid on the printing plate press platen 16; and the doctor unit 30.
