The present invention relates to the field of managing tasks undertaken by employees or contractors in the work-place. In one form, the invention has application to a construction site in which vehicles moving onto and/or exiting the site need to be tracked. In one particular aspect the present invention is suitable for use when trucks and loader loads need to be accounted for and tracked to ascertain a basis for remuneration.
