A flexible pressure-stable sealable tote for use in transporting and/or storing of oxidatively-degradable foodstuffs, preferably fish. The tote includes a fuel cell with an anode and a cathode capable of converting hydrogen and oxygen within the tote into water. The tote also includes a holding element suitable for maintaining a hydrogen source within the tote or an external hydrogen source which is gaseous communication with the device.
