In order to enable heat to be efficiently transferred to a solar cell module, a terminal box (10) is provided with: a metallic terminal plate (60) for supporting a diode body (81) and having a hole (70) formed therein; a resin support section (12) for supporting the terminal plate (60), the surface of the support section (12) which is located on the reverse side of a support surface (26) of the support section (12) being capable of making contact with a solar cell module (500), the support surface (26) having a protrusion (37) protruding therefrom; and a staking section (39) formed by inserting the protrusion (37) into the hole (70) and, in this state, staking ultrasonically or by heat the portion of the protrusion (37) which faces the front surface of the terminal plate (60), the staking section (39) being not deformed by heat generated by the diode body (81).
