REFLECTOR ASSEMBLY FOR SATELLITE ANTENNA AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A reflector assembly for a satellite antenna and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the rigidity of a reflector without increasing a dead load by combining a stiffening member with the edge of the reflector along the circumferential direction of the reflector. CONSTITUTION: A reflector assembly(100) for a satellite antennas includes a reflector(110) and a stiffening member(120) with a parabola shape. The stiffening member is combined with the reflector in order to increase the rigidity of the reflector to stress which is added through an external shock. The reflector is formed into a parabola reflector used for a conventional satellite antenna. The reflector includes a bent part(115) in which an insertion space is formed. The bent part is formed in the edge of the reflector along the circumferential direction of the reflector. The bent part is combined with the stiffening member to increase the rigidity of the reflector.
