摘要 PURPOSE: An object recognition method of a robot is provided to increase the recognition rate of an object by searching the object based on patch images having various sizes. CONSTITUTION: An object recognition method of a robot is as follows. The color histogram of partial areas of a frame is compared with the color histogram of multiple patch images, and the similarity is converted into number(S7). Partial areas with the similar color histogram are determined as first candidate areas by comparing the similarity of the color histogram with a reference value(S8). The first candidate areas are compared with the synchronous histograms of the patch images, and the similarity is converted into number(S9). The first candidate area with the synchronous histograms of highest similarity is determined as a second candidate area(S10).
