<p>PURPOSE: An internal combustion engine is provided to properly inject fuel injected into a suction passage to the inside a cylinder even if the pressure of the suction passage is higher than the pressure of an exhaust passage. CONSTITUTION: An internal combustion engine comprises an injector(10), a first injection unit, a second injection unit, a comparison unit, and an injection controller. The first injection unit injects fuel from the injector at a suction stroke. The second injection unit injects fuel from the injector at an exhaust stroke. The comparison unit compares the pressure of a suction passage with the pressure of an exhaust passage. The injection controller controls the operation of the first and second injection units according to the pressure conditions from the comparison unit.</p> |
