<p>A connection 3 between an upper flexible frontplane substrate 4 and a lower flexible backplane substrate 8 is formed by a flexible conductor 3 such as a conductive tape, conductive foil or conductive adhesive. The flexibility of the conductive connector is greater than the flexibility of either of the backplane or frontplane substrates. A reliable connection is provided which prevents loss of drive voltage applied to the device which may be a flexible electrophoretic or liquid crystal display.</p> |
