PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the coordinates as the X-axis and the Y-axis of a component mounting apparatus without a need of a high-degree apparatus such as a laser measuring machine or the like or complicated labor. SOLUTION: In the component mounting apparatus composed of an X-Y drive unit composed of an X-axis unit 17 and a Y-axis unit 18, the reference jig 75 which has already been measured by an external measuring device is used, observation points 77, 78 on the reference jig 75 are measured by a work recognition camera 42 attached to a mounting head 19 in a state that the reference jig 75 is arranged in the mounting position of a circuit board 15, and the traveling accuracy of the X-axis and that of the Y-axis are corrected. |
