<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle exchange unit for detecting existence of an exchange nozzle properly with a compact arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: The nozzle exchange unit 19 comprises a nozzle sensor 40 for detecting existence of a nozzle 21 contained in the nozzle containing hole 31 of a unit body 30, and a control substrate 36 provided in the unit body 30 in order to control operation of the nozzle sensor 40. The nozzle sensor 40 has a light projecting section 38 mounted on the control substrate 36, and a light receiving section 39 mounted on the same control substrate 36 and receiving light irradiated from light projecting section 38 and arranged to detect existence of the nozzle 21 between the light projecting section 38 and the light receiving section 39. In the unit body 30, reflectors 45 and 46 for guiding the light irradiated from the light projecting section 38 to the light receiving section 39 mounted on the same control substrate 36 are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
