Method and system for managing user interactions via instant messaging

The method involves retrieving a message to be sent by a user from one of conversation windows (12-14). The retrieved message is semantically analyzed. Semantic distances separating the analyzed message from conversation of the user with communicating parties are calculated. The communicating party identifying the analyzed message is selected from the communicating parties, where the semantic analysis step includes structural study and semantic study of the message to be sent. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for managing interactions of a user with communicating parties via instant messaging (2) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for implementing a method for managing interactions of a user with communicating parties via instant messaging.
