PURPOSE: A device and a method for managing the use of a drawing file are provided to conveniently share a drawing file while enhancing the security by safely managing the use of a drawing file which is shared through user terminals. CONSTITUTION: A unit for driving a drawing distribution setting screen(120) generates and displays the drawing distribution setting screen. The drawing distribution setting screen includes a library unit which loads the registered drawing library and information setting area which displays the information about the object drawing. An integrated management linker(130) displays the specific information about the object drawing to the information setting area if the object drawing is selected among the register drawing library. If a drawing distribution request menu is executed, a secure drawing distribution requestor(140) generates a drawing distribution request command and transmits the command to a server.
