<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent delay or transmission rate reduction by suppressing the traffic of a LAN by causing an ECU to receive only required data. <P>SOLUTION: An on-vehicle database system is equipped with an on-vehicle LAN including a database distribution node provided for each of a plurality of groups, an ECU provided for each group, and a transmission line for sequentially connecting the database distribution nodes. Each of the database distribution nodes is equipped with an ECU-side transmitting/receiving means, a node-side transmitting/receiving side and a processing section for recording data received from the ECU-side transmitting/receiving side and the node-side transmitting/receiving means and sharing the data with recorded data of the other database distribution node, wherein a plurality of data received from the ECU are recorded in the database as messages and regarding data to be transmitted to the ECU, only data transmission-requested from the ECU are selected from among the messages and transmitted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
