PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a time obtained at every required time interval to a communication object by simple operation of a remote controller. SOLUTION: This remote controller 1a comprises a calculating portion 11, a display portion 12, a transmitting portion 13, an operating portion 14 and a control portion 15. The control portion 15 controls the calculating portion 11, the display portion 12, the transmitting portion 13 and the operating portion 14. The time interval T and the time tin are input to the operating portion 14 by a user. The time interval T is variable. The calculating portion 11 determines at least one time tout(m) by adding a result of multiplying the time interval by an integer m excluding 0 to the time tin. The display portion 12 displays at least one time tout(m). The transmitting portion 13 transmits the time tout(p) selected from the displayed time tout(m1) by the user, to the communication object 2.
