PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the accuracy of color prediction to be higher and enable the processing load to a device in the color prediction to be reduced.

SOLUTION: A color prediction device for calculating a prediction reflection ratio indicating a reproduced color printed by a printer in color matching, comprises: an optical density calculation unit for calculating a print optical density based on a print reflection ratio measured from a printed portion to which the printer performed printing on a print medium; and an optical density prediction unit for calculating a print optical density of the reproduced color based on the print optical density, and calculating a first prediction reflection ratio indicating the reproduced color based on the print optical density of the reproduced color.
