<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector which securely engages with a mating connector and an electric connection box. <P>SOLUTION: The electric connection box 10 includes a case 12 housing a circuit board 11 therein. The case 12 has a connector 21 including a synthetic resin portion 24 in which terminal fittings 19B, connecting with the circuit board 11, are arranged. The synthetic resin portion 24 has a hood part 22 into which the mating connector 26 is fitted, a surrounding wall 23 provided on an outer periphery of the hood part 22 and forming a hollow portion 25 with the hood part 22, an engaging part 27 provided on an inner wall of the hood part 22, and a reinforcing rib 38 provided at a region corresponding the engaging part 27 of the hood part 22 and connecting the hood part 22 with the surrounding wall 23. The engaging part 27 engages with the mating connector 26 from the rearward of the fitting direction, thereby restricting the mating connector 26 from being removed from the hood part 22 to the rearward of the fitting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
