MAGNETOSTRICTIVE POSITION TRANSDUCER WITH A PLURALITY OF FLAT COILS

It is described a magnetostrictive position transducer comprising a first transduction member of the magnetostrictive type (3), a second transduction member (7) operatively associated to the first transduction member (3), of a physical signal generated by magnetostrictive effect by the first transduction member (3) at the passage of an excitation current pulse under the action of the interaction between a magnetic field associated to a magnetic cursor which can be associated to the magnetostrictive transducer, and a magnetic field induced by the excitation current pulse. The magnetostrictive transducer results to be characterized in that the second transduction member (7) comprises a plurality of flat coils (9) distributed in a first printed circuit board (8).
