SOLAR CELL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to omit the complex patterning process using photoresist by forming an n+ area and a p+ area using a solar cell. CONSTITUTION: An n+ area(120) and a p+ area(130) are formed in one side of a semiconductor substrate and are separated. A first electrode is electrically connected to the n+ area. A second electrode(150) is electrically connected to the p+ area. An insulation layer is placed on the surface of the semiconductor substrate, the first electrode, and the second electrode. A passivation film is formed in the other side of the semiconductor substrate.
