PURPOSE: A hot extrusion method of a metal pipe for improving a production yield is provided to reduce production costs by minimizing the rate of push rods which are to be pre-treated. CONSTITUTION: A hot extrusion method of a metal pipe for improving a production yield is as follows. A billet(10) is inserted into an extruder sleeve(100). The front end of the inserted billet is closed using a closed die(120), and the rear end is closed using a pressing panel(130) and a mandrel(140). The mandrel is moved forward, and the front end of the mandrel approaches to the closed die. The closed die is separated from the extruder sleeve, and an opening die(110) having a mold outlet(111) is installed in the front end of the extruder sleeve. The mandrel is moved forward, and the front end of the mandrel is located at the mold outlet of the opening die. A metal pipe is extruded by forward moving the pressing plate.
